An ticket system (also issue tracking system, trouble ticket system, support Ticket or incident ticket system) is a computer software or web based package that manages and maintains lists of issues, as needed by an organization. Ticket systems are commonly used in an organization’s to create, update, and resolve reported customer issues.

There are 3 versions of tickets systems, paid version, custom version(mainly build for one company) and the open source version. Because we dont want to pay <strike>a lot of</strike> money for an ticket system, we use the open source versions.

These 9 ticket systems are professional ticket systems, and can be used in a big company. A couple of these ticket systems are even used by big company’s.
Yesterday Google lanched there newest tool called Buzz. Google Buzz makes it possible to follow online activities of your friends on other websites within your Gmail account. Users can follow with Google Buzz, Twitter updates, blogger posts or Flickr pictures of there friends. For now it’s not possible to use Google Buzz to update services like Twitter, but Google says that they are working on that.

Users can set there Buzz messages to public or private, which is very useful because public messages will be displayed on your Google profile and these public messages will be index by Google, so if you dont want that, you can set the message to private. Google says that i would be easy to share a message with just a certain person or persons.

Because the numbers of smart phone are growing, there’s also a mobile version of Buzz available for the Iphone and Andriod phones. Because the most smart phone are equipped with a GPS, you can use Buzz in combination with your mobile GPS to post where you are and see the Buzz updates of the users in you neighborhood.

Google Buzz, the answer to facebook and twitter? Let use know what you think!

One of the more popular products for website developers today is ColdFusion. ColdFusion is an application server, meaning it allows users to create Internet applications for their web pages. This gives online business owners more control over their web design and web functionality and enhances user experience. ColdFusion uses CFML (ColdFusion Markup Language), a tag-based programming language similar to HTML or XML, but geared specifically to the ColdFusion applications.

Using ColdFusion

Web developers looking for a flexible tool to create websites that pop and attract users will love ColdFusion. It’s easy to pick up, allows integrated debugging, Java and .NET integration and ZML processing and is ready to meet nearly any web application creation challenges a developer can dream up. These applications are easier to use and require fewer lines of code than other application software like PHP, JSP or ASP. Users will need two products, ColdFusion Application Server and ColdFusion Studio, as well as, of course, a web host for the applications they build with Cold Fusion.

ColdFusion Hosting for ColdFusion Applications

To use a web development tool like ColdFusion, you’ll need web hosting specifically geared towards the ColdFusion software. Fortunately, several web hosts offer just that. Check the list of featured ColdFusion hosts online and compare their offerings. ColdFusion hosting is generally done on shared servers, which means serious savings for the user. The right use of ColdFusion combined with the right web host can mean beautifully integrated web pages that grab traffic and keep users coming back for more time after time.

A couple of weeks ago i decided to work in a more organized way, so i went on a search for a useful project managemt tool. On my search i came across a couple of well known project managementy tools like BaseCamp, Lighthouse and Springloops, all great tools but sadly not free (yes i am looking for a free tool). After lots of hours searching i finally found a project managent tool thats free. Project2Management is free to use and its almost the same like the paid versions on the web. Project2Management has lots of useful functions like, assign multiple levels of permission to different clients & users, manage your projects from anywhere, manage unlimited projects, post messages to keep everyone up to date, manage tasks with To-Do lists, create milestones to stay on task and lots more.

I think this is very useful project management solution, if your looking for a tool that is free.

notic: this isn’t a free tool anymore, but you still can get an free basic account here

Choosing blogging software can be a scary process, especially if you are new to blogging. There are many different types of engines and content management systems (CMS) that could be used. Picking the software that you’ll need is not an easy task, given the wide variety and types on the Web today.

There are many different aspects to consider when choosing which blogging software to pick. For instance:

Programming language.
Many blog platforms run on either PHP or Rails, but you can find just about any flavor of programming language you are looking for.

What features you’ll need.
The type of software you might choose is very dependent on the type of blog you are going to run. Some blog software is geared more towards new users, while others are more developer and designer friendly. It’s a matter of finding software based on the features you need.

The size of the software’s community.
If the software community is larger for one blogging system and much smaller and less active than another, the more active community is usually a better choice for software. More active users within the development community means more improvements on the code base, in a faster time frame.

The age of the software.
The age of the software shows the maturity of the blogging platform. Young projects are more unstable, and are more likely to have bugs.

If you are planning on extending the blog.
If you are thinking about adding things like forums, a store, or some other feature to your blog, some blogging software will be more suited to fill that need than others.

The blog software that you choose can have a big impact on your blogging. It’s important to choose the right software in the very beginning, so you can avoid the hassle of migrating to different engine later on. Here are the pros and cons of the 10 most popular blogging systems.

In the simplest of terms this is a program that allows you to view large portions of your installed font families with their various styles.

The application renders all installed font families in a scrollable grid view. It allows you to change the font size, color, background color and text to be displayed. It has a built in list feature that allows you to select fonts and then store the names, this acts much like a light-box on the various stock image websites. You can export your list to .txt or .fv for later use and we also added a feature that will export your list to .pdf with the all styles applied.

This tool is by no means revolutionary but as a designer you might find it quite helpful when trying to find that perfect font for a piece of copy or a new logo.

Well honestly what more can I say, just give it a try! If you are a designer I think you will find Font Viewer really helpful.
