On the hunt for the best open source resources and more

It’s time for some MooTools stuff, this time i found a nice and very useful MooTools slider. noobSlide is a lightweight “class” written with the mootools library with which you can build “slides” from simple to complex, clear that to get the maximum benefit you need to learn how to work with mootools.

I guess pretty much everyone has seen Barack Obama’s website by now, which is clearly one of the prettiest of all candidates we’ve heard of so far. Not only is it an example of state-of-the-art design, but it’s also nice to navigate and interact with.

Slideshow is a javascript class for MooTools 1.2 to stream and animate the presentation of images on your website. Slideshow is the result of many trials in code attempting to create a javascript class that was lightweight, unobtrusive, a snap to setup (but also highly configurable), extendable and – built using the javascript framework with the best effects – visually very impressive.

You’ve probably seen it on various websites: those neat little inline slideshows that browse you through a gallery of images (or content if you want, too). Most people simply copy the code to use it on their own site, but I believe that by making it yourself, you learn new techniques and gain new insight.

(E)² Photo Gallery is a open source gallery built with Mootools Javascript Library the compact, modular, Object-Oriented javascript framework. Designed to allow you to upload your photos to a desired folder, tell the (E)² Photo Gallery what folder to look at and it will automatically load the images using PHP.
